Past Projects of Quail Trail
New Leaf's first project at 4444 Quail Trail was completed in 2022.
After all units were leased to tenants and the property obtained project-based vouchers, ownership of 4444 Quail Trail was transferred to Presbyterian Night Shelter in early 2024.

Quail Trail, a new 48-unit permanent supported housing project for chronically homeless, disabled people, has broken ground at 4444 Quail Trail in Northwest Fort Worth.
The $4.7 million project will be debt free. Construction is being funded by forgivable loans of federal funds from the City of Fort Worth and grants from First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth and five local foundations.
The income stream from rents will pay for property management, maintenance and case management. A variety of other support programs for residents will be provided by local nonprofits at no cost to Quail Trail or residents. Rental assistance for residents is being funded by HUD through Fort Worth Housing Solutions. Residents will pay 30% of their income, which typically come from Social Security or Social Security Disability Income, toward their rent and the HUD program will pay the balance.
4444 Quail Trail is within easy access to public transportation, employment opportunities, health care,
and affordable retail and healthcare.
The 3-acre site will have 12 single story fourplexes designed to resemble single-family homes.
The site plan has been designed with common areas to meet the needs of its resident and create an inviting
living space, including free laundry, community room, and offices for case managers and service providers.
Additionally, there will be landscaped green spaces with outdoor seating and perimeter fencing.
